Will height change cause a crash

I watched some DaVinci Resolve videos a while back and even tired it, but it was just too complicated for my needs, take a look at this review. The Video starts at the beginning of the DaVinci Resolve review…

DaVinci Resolve has capabilities that I did not even know were capable to produce… I am a retired Computer Programmer and Systems Analysis and once an associate and I were reviewing some new software and he remarked that there are things that we do not need to do nor need to know… He said, “Everyone knows that Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall building in a since bound. But did you know that when he has a bowel movement and he farts, he can clean the sewer system out of the entire city?”

Somethings are not meant to be done or even known about… L  L . . .

Supposedly “Microsoft Clipchamp” is the replacement. If it did not com loaded in your windows version, it is an App available at the Microsoft Store…

once again ive got it. Doesn’t do 4k. if you upgrade it to premium you get the 4k but it costs $170 Australian every year.
Anyhow lets see how i get on today. My mate from works a wizz with computers. somethings not right and im hoping he can sort it.
Im feeling a little jinxed. All the computer stuff happening, and now my faithful office chairs arm decided its had enough lol
i cant win for losing hahahaha

I agree with you. The short glimpse I have seen looks like they try to make it the same as Adobe Premier (what I believe it looks like now), and that s far from simple. That is why I am so happy with CapCut. I am not selling my stuff, and the quality will anyhow be limited to what YouTube manage to make of it (it still looks a lot better on my computer, even if they somehow “treats” it up to 4K, but I have found out that it is definitely worth sending it as 4K to YouTube, because anything less doesn’t really give the quality I want.

G’day. just a thought, but do you need batteries ? I just got a new one.
Normally for the standard power ones are around AU$90. i picked up a high power for $85 from them.
so less then the price of a low power.
For the mini 2. is that a good deal ?

Sunday i was at the local port. Photos not drone vids, as the wind was been annoying.
A bit of this and that. Tug boats, and ships, tall ships under sail. Even a shot of 2 guys in the loft unfurling sails.

Here something funny. Just about every post gets flagged and then ok’d again.
Im noob of the month hahahahaa nothing makes me feel more welcome then getting all my posts flagged hahahaahaha

Thank you for thinking of me. I have three good batteries and the Charging Hub that holds all three batteries and will charge and balance the charges. For your information, the Mini 2 Battery (New) from DJI is only $55.00 US ($89 AUS) and that includes free shipping…

I looked up the batteries for your Mini 4 Pro (both types…), and they are also New and from DJI with Free Shipping and they are $65.00 US ($105 AUS) for the small battery that maintains the Sub 250-Gram weight and $95.00 US ($153 AUS).

These prices are based on my being in the USA, if you go to the DJI Web Site and goto the Support Page, I do not know if the prices would be the equivalent to the US price or they charge more because it came by a “slow boat from China…” (that is an old American expression to indicated the order takes a ling time…), but actually, you are a lot closer to China than we are.

The advertisement you linked to Alibaba cost $9.00 US less, but there is postage, and then there is shipping time… When I ordered my third battery from DJI, it was here in three days…

Besides, I also am a member of the DJI Forum and when you log on, they award you one point each day that you log on, 5-points when you post something and 3-points when you reply to a thread…

I have accumulated 5,022 points that can be used towards any purchases made from DJI…

Honestly, I logged on once a day, and I usually do… and I earn about 360-points a year that would equate to me being a member for over 14-years, and I have been a member for just about 4-years, so I must have done a lot of posting and replying… L  L . . .

I have just submitted my points for DJI Credits and they are computing them now… Perhaps I have to wait for the guy with the abacus to come in tomorrow and figure it out… L  L . . .

I’ll let you know what the points ultimately are worth…

I liked it, Good timing on the photo changes, Good transitions, Good images, and it looked like a good Lunch. Was that what Mum had for lunch too?

i basically got the big, more power, battery and shipped for the price of the small one. im in no rush for the slow boat from china. i have 5 normal and 1 high capacity already.
same a few dollars is always good.
I went back to the dam where this all started this morning after hospital time… again …
got the shot coming up the wall, but then a huge amount of tourists started to go out on the wall, so i couldnt get the water shots :frowning: so looks like a 3rd trip is required. its a long drive. google maps doesnt know where its going either

was a rush job. lol
mum had schnitzel and salad.

This is from the posting you made about the Notifications… When I click on mine and then I click the More Arrow, it goes on for hundreds and hundreds…

I noticed you have accumulated a few badges… This video shows you my badges… I included the sounds effects from an old radio show where the DJ calls various folks and pranks them. It is usually a spouse or friend providing the target and the “victim” is told about it at the end… I include this one because the victim has my name…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD4J9YB2obE

The reference i was making wasnt the number of badges, it was more atune to the fact that they keep flagging all my posts then tell me i am the best person for this month lol.
Am i right in thinking this is a fairly new forum ? very few topics show to me.
Normally if you have threads that go on like this one, an admin comes and tells you to chat else where. nothing like thats happening. maybe forums have evolved lol
ok soi went to the wall and got a couple shots. not the spin around the pumps i wanted as there was too many people.

you got alot of badges. im not specifically going after badges. just here for the knowledge and friendship.
If i get badges i get badges lol

I do not hunt Badges either, they just accumulated over the years… Maybe they will create a special Badge for you, “First New Member thrown off in less than a Month…” L :joy: L . . .

Nice video, nice music, having people in a shot is not necessary a bad thing, it adds depth, perspective and scale. But I know there are times when you do not want them in it… I do not think the part where they were on the top of the dam detracted; they really put the scene in perspective so you knew just how large the dam is…

Minor critique, at 2:24, when you bobbled the controls and went down, then up, then back, that is a good place to edit those out…

But still a nice video!

im guessing thats the slide back across the wall face. i did look at that. would have been a scut n shut on the same bit. probly should have. lol people in the shot doesnt worry me, but in Australia its a naughty. have to have permission.
that shot your referring to was actually a miss fire. i was trying to get the round shot on the pump or what ever it is. so i asked this couple if they would mind been in the vid and they were tourists. they said hell no. so i asked them to hold up for 30 while i got the show. lined up the pov. apparently didnt get enough of the box on it. hit record and right to start doing the round. it just went right, not round. now theres about 10 people waiting to cross. so i aborted the run and did the across the wall, which was really me forgetting to turn the camera off as i flew it back towards me.
its ok it is just a training vid.
Another challenge i had, was flying to the bottom of the dam to get the start. sounded easy in my head. start high to get the ground level high up. then pop over the top and get close to the ground. then fly up the wall to the reveal. without been on the wall and leaning over, there is no way to see where the drone is down there properly. i nearly put it in to the top of a huge tree. worked out full gimble down and fry from the view on the remote was the way to go.
Next time i might have another crack at it. base of the dam, to the top and then forwards over the water and go high, then down to the pov on the pump on the water. got to dream right lol
The music you like is what i have made. cool huh

Actually, the rules are you cannot fly directly over anyone no matter how high you are and you must be at least 30-meters away from them (laterally as in a position directly below the drone on the ground over to them… unless you have a remotely piloted aircraft operator’s certificate (ReOC)…

If you do not have this ReOC, there are the specific rules you need to follow… It’s difficult to tell but it looks like your drone was far enough away to be legal, nothing about permission in the Aussie Rules unless you have a remotely piloted aircraft operator’s certificate (ReOC), then you can if other factors are also met…

I did hear that Aussie CASA video say that you cannot fly at night… “youse a bad boy…”

Oh, another note about that Dam, it’s 118 ft (36 meters) high. So, if you take off from the center top of the dam and fly Northwest for 20 meters, you will fly past the slop of the dam base and over the small pump house at athe base of the dam. The lower your camera so you are looking at the pump building and slowly fly down all the while keeping the building in the center of the screen. As you get lower, the altitude will go negative once you get lower than the dam face. But it’s 36 meters down. As you descend remember as long as you can see the roof of the building amd the front of the building, you are above it and in front of it. When you have raised your camera all the while you decended, you are cool until the only the front edge of the roof is visible and yu are looking directly at the front of the building and you should be showing a negative 35 meters…

And finally, that music is really good, you might consider, if you have not yet, putting up a web site that you can sell your music, or offer it free and hope you get enough interest to monetarize your site and let the advertisers pay you indirectly for your misic…

the dam is a tricky one. i need to have the gimble down to get the location of the drone as i cant see, but i also need to have it set the the right pitch for the reveal once i crest the wall. been that im not far off the wall i get a little bit of drift from the wind. so going up and down to get located and then up to get the shot, and then hoping im in the same spot vertically isnt working lol. im not good enough to pull the shot as i go. thats why i am practicing. ill get there. im good with visual flying. not real good with screen flying.
as for the music, its not something i could make a living from. That and my youtube is just so i have a link for people to get it. likle family and stuff. a few others pop past, but no way id get to 1000 subs and as many views for each video.
Google says per 1000 views is $10 lol would take a lot of work per week and alot of videos, and a lot of new places for that to happen. getting the casa licence is a bit above me aswell. im not smart, so it wont happen.

I was thinking that yu just use my method to get down to the bottom without bottoming out then you and get all the video you want on the way up. If you really want the video to be as you are decending then your reverse the video in the editor… Just a thought…

So you like Roy D. I did not know he made the journey down under… Here is alink to every broadcast… Click on the YouTube Link and all are listed…

As for your music, Susan Boyle was a cook and only sang in a church choir, but now she has performed for the Pope, the Queen, and all over the world and she is known internationally… Again, just a thought…
