What causes my video to stop and restart while flying without manually doing anything to cause this? For example I may end up having a 8 min clip and then another 5 min clip when I expected a continuous 13 min clip.

Video files will always split around 4GB. So, you’ll either need to manually stop the video to prevent the file from becoming too large or join the files together using a video editor after you’re done flying.
