Could someone please share with me the old instructions for doing this from a PC running iTunes?
I like to keep a copy of all flight logs from my Mavic Air 2 on my new Windows 11 Pro laptop – first stop before Flight Reader. Since transferring from Windows 10, I’ve recorded some new ones that remain on my iPhone. It’s easy enough to see these flight logs on the iPhone 13 Pro using the new (?) native “Files” app, but how to get them to the PC? I’ve just tried the new Apple Devices app (recommended by Apple) without success.
I recall that there was some trickery with iTunes to get at the DJI files, but it isn’t spelled out in Apple’s instructions for iTunes…
Mike – OK, I think I got it. First I missed the “Save” at the bottom of the files list in the app.
But most of all, I expected to be able to drill down the folder structure to open “flight_logs.” Apple Devices seems only to allow selection of top-level items under “DJI Fly.” Thus I had to select the entire “Flight Records” folder to save to my PC. Is this correct behavior?
As you know, this folder contains a whole lot of junk I don’t want, including all the “MCDatFlightRecords,” which are useless to me. If that’s the best this app can do, so be it: but I thought I remembered being able to select just the “flight_logs” folder with iTunes. Not so?
