After much research I believe I found a compatible android tablet to run the DJI Fly app and my mavic mini 2 which is the SAMSUNG SM-T290NZKAXAR, Galaxy Tab A 8.0". Can it be wifi only or do I need one linked to my cell phone carrier?
I’m not aware of ANY DJI Drone controller device, phone or tablet, that has to be capable of cell reception to function properly.

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 (SM-T830) with the Mini Mavic and the DJI Fly app.
