Splish Splash

Hi all, i was recently filming my daughter fly boarding and unfortunately I got to close to the action.
My mini2 received a big dose of salt water in its face, it made for good footage but now the gimbal is not functioning.
It moves a little on start up but I keep getting the same notification “Gimbal stuck”.
Everything else works just not the gimbal.
I put it in a sealed bag or rice for two days while I hoped and prayed for a miracle but it seems the god of drones wasn’t listening.
Anyone have an idea of what I could try.
Have a great weekend, Rick

Salt water will eat up, its just going to get worse, many threads in the past about this.

If you have Care Refresh, I recommend you send it in and get a replacement.

That’s great!
I have never had it.

DJI in Ft Worth, TX., turned my crashed drone around in less than one week and they sent me a new, not refurbished drone. I later then sent that one back to them for warranty work and again, I got a new one… I am active on other drone sites and I have read that folks who sent their drone in for repair, no warranty, no care refresh, were surprised at how cheap it was.
