My mini 4 started beeping just about all the time unless it was a really good distance from anything. Firmware on controller and drone up to date. I recalibrated the few options given in the menu but now they dont beep at all. Drone and sensors work as they should brake setting is onand not running in sport mode. Advice? Thanks

I am guessing you are referring to setting your obstacle avoidance…
Thanks, but that does not tell me why the beeping is erattic. Beeping always worked when i was getting within about 6 feet or so of anything in any direction. Then it started beeping just all the time unless i was far away from anything approximately about 30 yards or do. Then i cleaned my sensors and recalibrated etc…and now no beeping at all even when close to an object

At this point, I am only guessing… Constant beeping that stops after a calibration or boot sequence usually means the drone was detecting nearby walls or objects during startup, or the controller sticks were off-center when powered on.
The drone was powered on indoors or close to a wall, floor, or your body, causing the obstacle sensors to panic until they re-evaluated their surroundings.
The remote controller sticks were slightly pushed or not centered when you turned it on, triggering an alert that stopped once recalibrated.
And final, do not power the drone on facing a bright light like the Sun…
Other than that, recalibrate everything, the IMU, the compass, the gimbal, and even the remote controller sticks…
