SD card video

Hi everyone. I’m new to the drone, and would like to know why the video captured on the SD card, when put into the laptop, runs very very slowly, jolts and is basically unwatchable. I’m guessing it’s to do with the laptop’s processing speed?

This is a common cause – and it happens more often when viewing 4K video.

If you haven’t done so already, try viewing the video with VLC.

Thanks for the email. I’ll google the VLC, but could you give me a basic description of what it does. I’m very new to videography, so I’m learning as i go.

Many thank.

I posted a link to VLC above. Here’s a description from their website:

“VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.”

Doesn’t seem to work on there either.

Is your video jerky if you upload it to YouTube and video it there?

If it does play, then it’s very jerky. I’ll try YouTube, Cheers.
