New to the group, but my phantom 3 4k has been working great. Was out on a ride in the Sierra Nevadas and had brought along the drone to record our rides thru the mountain range. My phone asked for a wifi password (which it never had in the past) I entered the generic one and said it was incorrect. Since then February 2023 I have not been able to reset or get it to connect. I Can fly the drone but without any control or views from the dji app on my phone. I’ve seen tons of YouTube videos and help desk from dji but nothing has worked! TiA
Have you tried a hard reset on your phone. You might need to delete the Fly app and reload it.
I just experienced the wifi password reset at described on page 27 of the manual would not work (holding the C1 and C2 buttons, then the press the wheel….). I opened the controller to discover the ribbon cable connecting the C1 and C2 buttons to the main board was disconnected. Reconnecting was trickey in that you will have to remove the little cover over the USB connector to reveal the other end of the ribbon cable. Then connect the cable to the main board, feed it through the slot in the back as you close up the controller, then connect the other end of the cable.
