Landing pads work great in the grass. If it’s not weighted, you might want to stake it down if it’s windy.
Great! So that’s finally why they don’t seem to know this.Obviously your grass must be totally level?
I wouldn’t take off from tall grass. If it’s cut to around 3 inches (probably the usual in most places), it should be fine. And if you’re landing pad has some weight to it, it’ll push the grass down.
