The cable side phone hinge can not close to collapsed stow position.
It is blocked by the joyholder, weird.
So i remove sticks, still it will not close to collapsed stow position.

Got some photos so we can see what you’re describing?
Ok, will camera that black rubberized gripper cellphone cabled side
That cant close all the way down because joystick bay interferes, so remove joystick, still interferes, so remove bay, still interferes
Maybe dont collapse the cellphone gripper arms? Maybe dont unscrew and detach joysticks? Just remv phone and toss rc fully opened with engaged sticks into big bubblepadded mailer envelope, then toss into satchel. Saves wear tear
My Mavic Air remote controller closes just fine. Please post photos so we can see what you’re describing.
I believe both gripper arms shall be colinear with the channel bed since cellphone is colinear (slate tile)
Got a photo showing how you have the joysticks stored in the bottom of the remote controller?
Thanks. I was thinking the sticks might have been preventing the arms from closing properly, but I see in your original post above that this happens even when the sticks are not stored in the bottom of the remote controllers.
What seems to be prevent the arm from closing here?
Does it close if you press down on the top of the right arm when your remote controller is in the above position?
No. Its skewed just a tiny bit preventing fitup to the rc body structure.
Btw, i put an elmer’s glued shim under the lowest collapsed antenna. Otherwise that horrible loosening problem deja vu (loose antenna). When the lowest antenna over collapses, it ruins antenna snugness.
What is tomair saying?
The system was just stating he deleted his post.
Ok, never got to see
