Propeller Guard

Hi

I bought a DJI 360º Propeller Guard, the official one by DJI for Mini 2/SE and Mini 4K models. My drone is a Mini 4K
The drone seems to detect it and limits itself to 30m height and 50m distance according to the logs.

Is it possible to take this limitation off? What are the risks. And. I wonder. Does the wind affect it more when using the propeller guard?
I thought of using it on indoors (windless) but also when trying to flight between buildings. And I think its more unstable when it has this guard on.

What are your opinions?

Also there was a moment where the battery was almost empty and it asked to return home. It activated it. It wouldn’t flly high enough and tried to go forward against a building. I cancelled it and guided it manually. But I think chances are it would have crashed if there was an obstacle.

Does RTH ignore any obstacle in front of it?
This is specially concerning on situations where you might loose connectivity with it and RTH will auto trigger.

Thank you.

Have you checked the setting in the Safety Menu, open the DJI Fly app, tap the “…” icon in the upper right corner, go to Advanced Safety Settings, and enabled the Payload Mode?

Have you check the setting in the Control Menu, Flight Check list, open the DJI Fly app, tap the “…” icon in the upper right corner, go to Control Menu, Flight Check list, and ensure the settings still lets you exceed those limits…?

It also might have enabled Beginner Mode, Turn it off… open the DJI Fly app, tap the “…” icon in the upper right corner, go to Control settings, and then find and toggle Beginner Mode off. After disabling the mode, press the SAVE button to confirm the changes.

Other than that, Goggle, Goggle, and Google it…

Good Luck!
