A lot of people worry about damaging the gimbal after accidentally powering on their drone with the gimbal lock attached. Have you ever done this?

  • No. I always remember to remove the gimbal lock.
  • Yes, and it did not cause any damage.
  • Yes, and it damaged the gimbal and I had to repair my drone.

Once, first time out with MPP Oct '17

I’ve done it just a few times on several DJI drones. I now have a foot long red ribbon taped to the gimbal covers to remind me to take them off.
