Need help to find out why I can not take photos when I do not have the SD card in on my Phantom 3 pro. Also I forgot to mention that the micro sd card which is a Lexar V10 32 GB controller says sd card invalid. When I formated my card it says SD Card Formatting Failed?
The DJI Phantom 3 Professional uses a MicroSD card with a maximum capacity of 64 GB. It requires a card with a speed rating of Class 10, UHS-1, or faster to ensure proper recording of high-resolution video.
I know you probably “Mistyped” but an SD (Secure Digital) card is larger and usually used in cameras…
Assuming you do have a MicroSD Card that meets the above specifications, you might try formatting it in a PC or other device (phone or Tablet)… And then try using it in the Drone…
Most slower MicroSD Card will also work but not the oldest, slowest ones… But no guarantees… If you bought it off eBay on the cheap, do not be surprised that it is no good…
Hi @zbird-
As for your first sentence:
Need help to find out why I can not take photos when I do not have the SD card in on my Phantom 3 pro.
The DJI Phantom 3 Professional does not have internal storage for saving photos or videos. It requires a MicroSD card to record media.
@LoudThunder covered the rest.
