New Mavic Pro with Dead Batteries

Hello all,

This my first post here. I purchased a new Mavic Pro just before COVID hit in March of 2020. As a result of the pandemic I have not been working away from home. So I just opened the box yesterday and I cannot get the batteries to charge.

I contacted DJI support and they simply said the batteries are no good any longer. I am not new to photography, so I thought this was very odd as I own dozens of lithium batteries for cameras.

Are these batteries really just paper weights now?

Thanks for that link. Well I guess this is just another loss due to COVID. I have a $1300 paperweight now.

Before spending $150 on a new battery, check out this video or this one.

There’s lots of other results when searching for “dji battery repair” or “dji battery recondition”.

Its a chicken and egg problem. The intelligent battery module needs enough battery power to allow the battery to be charged.
