My drone stopped flying and crashed

Hello,

While flying my drone (Air 2S), it just stopped (all motors stopped) and crashed in the pool nextby… I dont understand what happen thats why Im coming for your help :pray:

So I took off on the side of a pool to take some videos. Flew up and start recording then I notice the video on my controler wasnt mooving (like if I wasnt recording anything). So I started to bring the drone back to me. When it was about 20m from me, I had a warning saying it has lost connection and wanted to connect to “something radio” (I didnt had time to read properly… everything happened in like 1min) and then motors just stopped and my drone fell in the pool…

I dont think Ive done anything wrong, I had battery, I didnt even know it could stopped by itself… I think it had lost the connection to my controler.

I downloaded the logs on the website but I dont really understand.

Could you help me please understand what happened ? Could it be because of the last update? Or interference with close radio?

The drone wouldn’t power off and fall to the ground if the remote controller disconnected.

There are no signs of a manual shut down or anything else unusual at the end of the flight log. That normally points to causes like the battery was not properly seated, the battery ejected mid-flight, or the battery was defective.

You should contact DJI support for help. They will be able to review the DAT flight log located on the drone.

Hi Kino, to Me it sounds like you got RF reflection off the Pool. Possibly creating a Null Wave, the IMU freaked out causing loss of Control. I fly RC Model Airplanes and this can happen especially with 2.4 GHz when the Model is close to the Ground. IE RF bouncing off of Wet Grass. DJI will probably have a better explanation. But, that’s my 2 cents worth. I wasn’t there & not sure what was around the Drone at the time. I hope this helps you? :+1:Bill
