Motors will not start on P 3 pro

Motors will not start

Not to be sarcastic but isn’t this a bit like telling your doctor, “I don’t feel good…” and expect him to diagnose the problem…

We need more… Is this a new drone to you, if not, how did it operated the last time you used it, how long ago, did anything happen the last couple of time you flew it, does it all look normal up to you trying to start the motors, have you gotten any warning messages, so many questions, so few answers…

OK, but the doc gets paid to figure it out. The drone is older, hasn’t been flown much, batteries were replaced a month ago. The RC connects, and all basic functions are go ,except the motors will not start. Camera is active, all lights active and connectivity is indicated. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Not to make lite of your drone issue, but you brought up the “Doctor…”

You know that the Person who graduates first in their Medical School’s Class is called the Valedictorian…

But do you know what they call the person who graduates last in their Medical School’s Class, the one who is still confused about the difference between a Podiatrist and a Proctologist?

They call him “Doctor…”

So, do not be surprised if you go to that doctor because you think you sprained your ankle and he asks you to drop your shorts and to bend over… L o L . . .

With all that being said, I am sorry but I do not have any suggestions, but your expanded posting might give another member the information they need to offer a cause or solution…

If you do not receive any help here, you might try the “Phantom Pilots” Web Site, they are all Phantom, all the time…

Good Luck!

A few questions for you:

  • When did you last fly this drone?
  • Anything noteworthy happen to the drone between now and the last flight?
  • What color are the lights underneath the drone arms? And how are they flashing?
  • How are you attempting to start the motors?
  • Which message is displayed at the top of the DJI GO app when you’re attempting to start the motors?
