Mini I-pad 2 will not accept DJI Go app

Got my Phantom 3 advanced up and running, however it only will run with my I-phone 13 on the DJI Go app. The app will not run on my Mini I-pad 2. Any ideas?

I am an Android user, but this web site might help…

The iPad 2 was released in 2011 (14 years ago). You should find modern devices are able to run DJI GO.

Well it used to run on the Mini I pad. But from the DJI site it seems the DJI Go app is only supported for I-phones now.

It also works with Apple’s newer iPads. As you posted above, the Apple device needs to be able to run iOS 8.0 or later.

If iOS is the same as operating system on the Mini i-pad 2 the operating system on it is 12.5.7. My i-phone 13 is 18.3.2. My other i-pat 10th Gen is the same as my phone. However the DJI Go app will not run on either i-Pad. A bit frustrating.

Yes, it’s referring to the version of the operating system.

Earlier, I misread “iPad Mini 2” as “iPad 2,” but you’re actually using an iPad Mini 2.

The iPad Mini 2 is also quite old since it was released in 2013. It originally came with iOS 7 and is upgradeable up to iOS 12.5.7, which it sounds like you’ve already done.

Since you’re on a compatible version of iOS, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the DJI GO app to see if that resolves the issue.
