HOW TO: Swap the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom cameras

In the DJI Mavic 2 announcement, they hinted that the cameras would be somehow swappable. The video from TronicsFix below shows it’s a process that anyone should be able to easy do on their own. Now, we just need to wait for DJI to start selling the cameras separately :slight_smile:

Now we just need a date when they will sell the camera as a separate item. Or, get on thunderdrones waiting list for what he may get his hands on!

If it’s as easy as shown above, it’s probably only going to be a good solution for someone who wants to permanently switch to the other camera. Someone who needs both cameras often will probably be better off buying both the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom.

Agreed. My thought was, one week with 1”, one week with zoom.
(Still haven’t convinced myself to get the second one)

I have alieady requested a zoom cam from our friendly repair guru when and if he can find one.

There are a few Mavic 2 Pro cameras available on eBay right now. I’m sure we’ll see some Zoom cameras there for sale soon too.

Have not seen a zoom yet. I’ll keep an eye out.
