Please can someone help - I’ve lost my bosses drone today whilst trying to do a circular video of a property site, the wind gusts came from no where and off it went It would RTH or let me lower or land it just went.
I’ve managed to view the flight log and the route, i’ve been and searched the location and surrounding area but no joy and the beep and flash wouldn’t work and the controller wouldn’t connect to the aircraft.

When the remote controller disconnected at the end of the flight, the drone likely attempted to return to the home point. However, due to strong winds, it likely drifted farther away as it tried to fly back. With the battery at 85%, the drone probably remained airborne for quite some time before eventually landing due to low power. Additionally, since the RTH altitude was set to 98 feet, it’s possible it crashed into an obstacle if there are any obstacles around that height in the direction the drone was drifting.

For some additional context, you were manually flying the drone away from the home point at full speed in Sport mode, while the wind was also pushing the drone in the same direction. It appears the remote controller battery died, causing it to power off and disconnect from the drone.
Unfortunately, the available data doesn’t provide any further details that would help locate the missing drone.
As for where it landed, it depends on whether the drone was able to make any progress while attempting to return to the home point. It may have managed to get partway back before landing, or it could have been pushed even farther away by the wind. It’s also possible that it landed safely in that nearby neighborhood and someone picked it up.
