For the original DJI Mavic Air (the first generation), you must use the DJI GO 4 app. It is not compatible with the newer DJI Fly app. The DJI GO 4 app provides all your camera settings, flight telemetry, and safety parameters like Return to Home.

Hello! Wellsir … I got with DJI tech support and they help me download the correct app and showed me how to pair the remote and drone. I was able to get it in the air briefly because the battery was low by the time I got it working. Now I have to practice getting it online and flying.
I had trouble with pairing the remote and the drone without the drone being disconnected from the wifi … what I had to do is a wire connection with the remote and my tablet.
