I couldn’t find a category for the Phantom 2 so here goes. I long ago retired mine, and now I’m cannabilizing what I can. I’m hoping there is a way to hack the video transmitter that came as a discrete component, for use in sending HD images wirelessly from my SONY Alpha camera when it’s mounted on my gimbal (or tripod), to the Elvid Skyvision monitor that came with the drone. So I could use the Elvid as a director’s monitor. I’m attaching photos of the parts. If I’m not mistaken, the iOSD mini, and the sensors in pics 3 and 4 are for the satellite communications but everything seems to be linked via the exposed pc board. Any advice on how to accomplish thisLink to pics?

Interesting project, I am sorry, I have no suggestions, but I wish you the best! But I think Rube Goldberg figured it out… 
Thanks for responding. I’ve decided it’s not worth trying to figure it out. There are monitors with built in TX (and HDMI out) that I can use to send the camera’s image to the Elvid for use as a wireless director’s monitor.
