Go4 app compass radar not rotating when I rotate my phone?

Hi there, new to this forum.
Why is it, that sometimes when I enter the Go4 app the compass radar screen at the bottom left, the North symbol will rotate when I rotate my phone. But when I link my drone the compass radar screen, the North marker will stay locked and not rotate or sometimes be backwards IE: saying North when it’s actually south.
