Hi,
I just bought an old P4P as a backup drone and made a factory data reset in the remote to change the user. Now I can’t use any wifi to log in. The device connects to wifi, but on sign-in it says “Network unavailable. Check your internet connection”, even if the wifi is connected. I tried to ugrade the firmware (currently 1.02.01.00) but whenever I do (from SD card) with no matter what version (upgrade or downgrade), the RC starts the update (the percentage bar reaches the end), restarts and loads the old version again or starts with a red (non-blinking) light and blank screen until after a few minutes it starts to beep and eventually restarts again into the old version. DJ assistant 2 is not recognizing the device either (can be because of the old firmware, maybe). So I am stuck… and frustrated…
…any suggestions or ideas?

What happens when you attempt to update from Settings → Update on the remote controller instead?

If I try to use the update setting it stills says that there is no network connection (that’s the system update option). The only thing that is “kind of working” is the option to make a local update. It sees the image on the sd card and the update executes. But after reboot there is no new version. It is still 1.02.01.00, no matter what I do or what version I choose (tried all versions found here - to upgrade and downgrade - nothing works).
And by the way. It is also interesting that password reset actually does work. It sends you the reset link. So the network adapter is obviously working and a connection is properly establishe.
and thx for your response
Some other things to try:
- Format the memory card before dropping the BIN file on it
- Try a different memory card
When the firmware update fails, are any log files created on the memory card?
