I am running the latest version 1.7.54 and when I launch Reader I get the flash screen that says “Loading data… Applying configuration …” and then that’s it, nothing loads. Any ideas?
Running it on a Mac using Parallels desktop and Windows 11. Everything has worked fine before.

Could you share your Error.log or email it to me?

I was able to get it working again after a number of restarts of Windows 11. It was kind of a gradual thing. It would sort of partially start then on the next restart, more functionality returned until it was fully working. I will share the error.log though since it might help determine what caused the problem in the first place.
Attached is the zipped Error.log file

Flight Reader seems to be working fine now. Were you able to glean anything from the error log?
Chris
@chrislaf I have not seen any of these exceptions reported before, but thank you for sharing them. I can take a closer look at the code and see if any of these can be handled.
Hi Mike.
I see the same behavior as Chris but restart (Win10) does not bring anything. Start screen comes on saying applying configuration….. and immediately shuts down. Version 1.7.54.

Alan, I tried a restart which didn’t work. I then shut down, then restarted and I got a partial load. It was a much smaller window when it came back but I could see my logs but everything was mostly frozen except the Flight Reader exit. I shut down Windows again then restarted and this time full functionality came back and immediately Flight Reader began syncing about 18 flights - there were only 3 new ones but everything seemed to be ok when it was done which took an unusually long time.

@alanbach could you share your Error.log file?
@chrislaf version 1.8.1 includes fixes for the issues I found in the Error.log you shared.
Thanks, I have updated to the new version and all seems to be working fine.
Chris
Version 1.8.1 has same behavior as 1.7.54. I do not have an error log where you claim it should be.
