Flight Reader API 2026.10 released

A new version of Flight Reader API has been deployed. Release 2026.10 includes the following changes:

  • Added support for processing agricultural flight logs from DJI SmartFarm, including spraying, spreading, and task telemetry.

  • Added POST /v1/accounts/dji/smartfarm to authenticate a DJI SmartFarm account and obtain its unique account ID. Added POST /v1/accounts/dji/cloud as an explicit DJI Cloud authentication endpoint. The existing POST /v1/accounts/dji endpoint continues to authenticate DJI Cloud accounts.

  • Added the following flight log fields. These fields are only populated when the processed flight log contains data for those fields. To retrieve the complete list of supported fields and their descriptions, call GET /v1/fields with your API key.

    • AG.flightMode: Whether the agricultural flight was performed in automatic or manual mode.
    • AG.flightRecordNumber: The unique flight record number.
    • AG.isSpraying: When true, the aircraft is spraying.
    • AG.isSpreading: When true, the aircraft is spreading material.
    • AG.sprayNozzleType: The type of spray nozzle used for the flight.
    • AG.operationArea [ac]: The area (in acres) covered during the operation.
    • AG.operationArea [centi-mu]: The area (in hundredths of a mu) covered during the operation.
    • AG.operationArea [ha]: The area (in hectares) covered during the operation.
    • AG.operationArea [m2]: The area (in square meters) covered during the operation.
    • AG.operationArea [mu]: The area (in mu) covered during the operation.
    • AG.operationSprayUsed [gal]: The spray liquid (in gallons) used during the operation.
    • AG.operationSprayUsed [L]: The spray liquid (in liters) used during the operation.
    • AG.operationSprayUsed [mL]: The spray liquid (in milliliters) used during the operation.
    • AG.sprayRemaining [gal]: The spray liquid (in gallons) remaining in the tank.
    • AG.sprayRemaining [L]: The spray liquid (in liters) remaining in the tank.
    • AG.sprayRemaining [mL]: The spray liquid (in milliliters) remaining in the tank.
    • AG.sprayTotalFlow [gal]: The total spray flow (in gallons).

    • AG.spreaderAccumulated [kg]: The material (in kilograms) dispensed by the spreader so far.
    • AG.spreaderAccumulated [lb]: The material (in pounds) dispensed by the spreader so far.
    • AG.spreaderDiskSpeed [rpm]: The rotational speed (in revolutions per minute) of the spreader disk.
    • AG.spreaderFlow: The spreader flow value.
    • AG.spreaderRemaining [kg]: The material (in kilograms) remaining in the spreader.
    • AG.spreaderRemaining [lb]: The material (in pounds) remaining in the spreader.
    • AG.taskArea [ac]: The area (in acres) covered during the current task.
    • AG.taskArea [centi-mu]: The area (in hundredths of a mu) covered during the current task.
    • AG.taskArea [ha]: The area (in hectares) covered during the current task.
    • AG.taskArea [m2]: The area (in square meters) covered during the current task.
    • AG.taskArea [mu]: The area (in mu) covered during the current task.
    • AG.taskElapsedTime [s]: The time (in seconds) elapsed in the current agricultural task.

    • AG.taskSprayAmount [mL]: The spray liquid (in milliliters) used during the current task.
    • AG.teamName: The name of the team associated with the flight.
    • AG.workMode: The agricultural work mode.
    • AG.taskFlightSpeed [ft/s]: The flight speed (in feet per second) configured for the task.
    • AG.taskFlightSpeed [m/s]: The flight speed (in meters per second) configured for the task.
    • DETAILS.droneModelType: The aircraft model type.
    • FIRMWARE.aircraft: The aircraft firmware version, as displayed in DJI’s firmware release notes.
    • HOME.distanceMax [ft]: The maximum distance (in feet) the aircraft traveled from the home point.
    • HOME.distanceMax [m]: The maximum distance (in meters) the aircraft traveled from the home point.
    • OSD.tiltInclinationDelta: Absolute change in the overall tilt angle of the aircraft (in degrees), calculated from its roll and pitch angles, between this record and the previous record.
    • OSD.yawDelta: Absolute change in the rotation of the aircraft (in degrees) between this record and the previous record.
    • OSD.yaw [unwrapped]: The aircraft’s cumulative rotation angle, with positive values indicating clockwise turns and negative values indicating counterclockwise turns, reflecting total degrees turned in either direction.

  • Updated GET /v1/logs/{id} to retrieve flights from either DJI Cloud or DJI SmartFarm using the account ID returned by the corresponding authentication endpoint.

  • Updated POST /v1/logs to process DJI SmartFarm flights. Submit the flight’s DownloadUrl from GET /v1/logs/{id} in the Url parameter.
