A new version of Flight Reader API has been deployed. Release 2025.7 includes the following changes:
- Added support for processing Mavic 4 Pro flight logs.

I understand that the Mavic 4 Pro will only be sold in Canada and Mexico (North America…) and not in the US in the foreseeable future…
I’ve read of some members (other web sites…) that plan on buying one from these two counties… I’ve advised against considering buying a Mavic 4 Pro from Canada or Mexico as they need to be aware that the drone might have firmware specific to that country and flying it in the US might prove problematic. As DJI often uses different firmware on its drones based on the country of sale, particularly with regard to geofencing and flight restrictions. This is done to comply with local regulations and safety standards.
So to them, I say, "Caveat Emptor…"
So far, I’ve only seen some drone news sites commenting on this. I’m still waiting for an official statement from DJI.
In the meantime, some US retailers (like Adorama and B&H) have started accepting pre-orders, which suggests the Mavic 4 Pro will eventually make its way to the US market.
