A new version of Flight Reader is available. Release 1.7.5 includes the following changes:
-
Added support for processing Matrice 4T flight logs.
-
When processing a flight log, a snapshot of the flight path is automatically generated and displayed in the “Photos” column of the flight list in the main Flight Reader window (view demo).
-
The RC.aileron, RC.elevator, RC.rudder, and RC.throttle values are now grouped together on the same chart axis for enhanced readability.
-
Resolved a crash that occurred when loading the Aircraft History while the “Aircraft” column in the flight list of the main Flight Reader window was hidden.
See the release notes for a complete list of changes.

I downloaded the new version. I really like the snapshot view of the flight path but when I hover over the tiny image of the flight path I get a zoomed in version and cannot see the whole flight path as you can see in the screen shot below. What am I doing wrong?

If you right click that flight and select “Open Log Folder”, what does the “Snapshot0.jpg” image look like when opened? It it also zoomed in and/or skewed?
I don’t have an image viewer on Windows other than Paint but when opened with Paint it is not zoomed in.
Chris
For your info I am running Flight Reader on Windows 11 via Parallels Desktop on an M2 MacBook Air with 24GB RAM. Parallels and Windows 11 are all updated to the latest versions.

Downloaded Microsoft Photos App and the “Snapshot0.jpg” image is not zoomed or skewed when opened. It’s only zoomed when moused over.
Chris
Thank you for those details!
The issue was caused by scaling on high DPI resolutions. It has been resolved in Flight Reader 1.7.6.
