DJI Unveils the Mavic 2 Enterprise

DJI unveiled the new Mavic 2 Enterprise model today. It features an ultra-compact and foldable design with an array of advanced controls and accessories that extend users’ capabilities during critical operations like firefighting, emergency response, law enforcement, and infrastructure inspections.


Here are some of the new features packed into the Mavic 2 Enterprise:
  • Top port to mount modular DJI accessories (like the spotlight, speaker, and beacon)

  • Powered by the DJI Pilot app

  • Self-heating battery (for flying in cold environments)

  • 24 GB onboard storage

  • Password protection to secure the data stored on the aircraft

  • GPS time stamping to record the GPS coordinates where photos were taken

  • Equipped with DJI AirSense to automatically alert drone pilots of ADS-B signals from nearby airplanes and helicopters (see an example here)

The US retail price of a Mavic 2 Enterprise Universal Edition (aircraft, remote controller, one battery, all three mountable accessories, and protector case) is $1,999. It will only be available for purchase from DJI authorized dealers.
