I bought a NEO2 and I’ve been testing it out. When I open up the phone app and pair it to the drone, follow me feature works perfectly fine, however, if I try and use the drone with the same follow me settings WITHOUT the phone app (just by using the button on the side), the drone takes off, and just whizzes past my head in a straight line and continues to fly straight until it hits something?!?
I don’t want to use the phone app as I will be using this for snowboarding, so I need it to work properly with just using the physical buttons.

I am sorry to hear that. Then the only advice that makes sense it “Get it Checked out and Fixed…” If you are in the US then this becomes exceedingly difficult… Even if you are in the US, I would still contact DJI Support, if you are outside the US, then things are only a nuance to return and if you have Care Refresh, you are in luck… If not, DJI is a reasonable choice to get it repaired…
You did not say if your NEO was new, but if it was and the seller is reputable, they might exchange it…
