Hi, I had an abnormal behavior during my first flight. I contacted DJI Support, and they told me to simply update the firmware and perform various calibrations. I did the update and the calibrations, but unfortunately, the problem happened again and I’ve now permanently lost my drone. I did a partial log analysis and found the ‘EC’ error. Is this common with the DJI Air 3? I’m disappointed with the support team, as they should have paid more attention to my first report—it would have saved my drone. Are there any experts here I could send my log file to for a more complete analysis? Thanks to all, Pierre.
That’s not a common error I’ve seen mentioned, but it could suggest there was a hardware-related issue with one of the ESCs or motors. There were likely more details in the DAT flight log, which unfortunately would no longer be accessible if you haven’t recovered the drone.
The TXT flight log may not contain enough information to confirm a hardware issue, but you’re welcome to post it here if you’d like others to take a look and share their thoughts.
If your drone is still covered under the DJI warranty, it would be worth sending that flight log to DJI to see if the issue is something covered by the warranty.
Thank you very much for your response. I have forwarded the requested files to DJI Support for analysis. I prefer to let them handle the process now to avoid interfering with their investigation. I will keep you updated on the outcome, which I hope will be favorable.
Best regards,
