I do not know your location, but I am guessing you are in the US and bought a drone from oversea, probably Europe…
DJI sets up the firmware based on country of sale, which is also why they will only repair a drone in the country of sale… It is the only way they can ensure that the firmware remains legal as manufactured by DJI…
But yes, you can change a DJI drone from CE (European) to FCC (American) mode, but it requires using third-party software and is not supported or endorsed by DJI. However, finding the software to do this is on you… Good Luck and I hope the software you get to hack your drone does not mess it up… Remember all those folks who bought black market computer games, most came with computer viruses…
