I went to fly today and got the message “cannot take off. ESC Error. Restart aircraft. Contact DJI support if this persists after restart”. It’s still there after several restarts and I also reset the drone and controller to factory settings. Any suggestions? DJI support are closed until Monday so should I just wait?
Did anything change between now and the last time all worked as expected? For example, did you replace hardware components, crash your Spark, drop it, update the firmware, etc.?
If you’ve done nothing and you’re not sure why the error is appearing, then you might be facing some type of hardware issue. In that case, it would be best to contact DJI Support (if your drone is under warranty or covered by DJI Care) or a repair shop if it’s not under warranty.
