I just received my DJI Goggles 2 and I have a question about how they’re supposed to power on.
When I connect the battery to the goggles and turn it on (short press followed by long press), the battery lights up properly, but nothing shows up in the goggles — no DJI logo, no backlight, completely black screen.
Is this normal?
Do I need to perform any specific steps (activation, update, pairing…) to make them turn on?
Or should the goggles display something as soon as they’re powered?
Is there a problem with the power cord? Is the plug on each end fully inserted? If you have access to another power cord from a friend’s Goggles 2 can you try that?
Oh, maybe it’s a cable issue, the problem is, I only have one cable and I don’t know anyone with a similar one to test.
I bought the goggles used on Amazon, so it’s possible the previous owner had a faulty cable and swapped it out with a different one before returning it.
I just tested my Goggles V2 (I don’t have a Goggles 2). The battery will not power up if the battery isn’t connected to the Goggles. Since your battery will power up I think that means the cable is OK…
