Best Sources of New Parts

Hi all -

I had the unfortunate experience of flying in Sport mode for the first time, and I didn’t realize how fast it was (compared to Normal and Cinematic mode) and I ran it into the exterior limbs of a tree when bringing it home to land. Looks like the damage is minor and limited to the blades and the exterior case of the body itself. I tested it again and it still flies fine, but one arm scrapes a bit when trying to fold it up again.

I performed a couple of Google searches, looking for some new parts and I ran across wildly different results including one page on aliexpress.us, with a whole kit of parts for $1.31!! And then typical ebay results with just one half of the case (top piece) for $46!!

What is the best way to acquire some new parts? Or, are people just 3D printing these themselves?

Gee, wouldn’t it be a nice gesture to tell the members what make and model of drone you are looking for parts for and where you are located… (as in what State/Province, and Country).

BUt since you asked try them…

I’m assuming by the title you’ve got a mini 3? I bought an unbound complete drone, for spares (Note you won’t be able to fly it, only for parts) It’s perhaps a lot of money to spend as insurance.
