Hi, I’m a beginner so please take it easy on me. Lol. I am wondering if I might have gotten bad batteries. Is it common for your batteries to not hold a charge? Mine are always low if they sit just a week or so and when I change them it takes forever to fully charge.
Here are some key notes from the Air 3 manual:
-
Auto-Discharging Function: to prevent swelling, the battery automatically discharges to 96% of the battery level when it is idle for three days, and automatically discharges to 60% of the battery level when it is idle for nine days. It is normal to feel moderate heat being emitted from the battery during the discharging process.

It is recommended to use the charging devices provided by DJI, such as the DJI Air 3 Battery Charging Hub, DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter, DJI 65W Portable Charger, or other USB Power Delivery chargers.
Note: The Yx parallel battery charger is a well-known high quality 3rd party option.
See singers comment. Keeping the batteries fully charged wears on their life span. They automatically discharge. Just recharge before you go out to fly.
