America's Got Talent (AGT) Thousand Drone Show…

This was the final performance of tonight’s AGT show… Anyone know how they got a FAA Waiver for such a show in so short a time (location, date, time, etc…). Doesn’t it normally take about 90-days for the FAA to review all the details to ensure that such a performance could be done safely…

I think 90 days is what the FAA recommends so they have enough time to process them. The actual time most likely depends on the complexity of the waiver. And then when a waiver is similar to a previously approved waiver (same company or not), I suspect that processing time would be even shorter.
